Designed to protect electrical wiring in applications where dust, dirt, oil, and water are not serious problems. All sections and fittings are completely open on one side so wires and cables can be laid in along an entire wireway run. No pulling through of wires or cables is required with this design.

High Voltage Junction Boxes

Purged Enclosures

Type Y and Z purging/pressurization systems are designed for smaller enclosures, up to 2 or 10 cubic feet. They allow the use of general-purpose enclosures in hazardous (classified) locations (as an alternative to explosion proof enclosures. They can provide a lower-cost of protection per cubic foot of enclosure volume.
